Dominating Circles (Front- Offset Right Hand Grab to Right Shoulder)

1. An attacker at 1 o'clock grabs your right shoulder with their right hand.

2. Note: Not all teach with the first move. Some start with the next. Step your left foot to 12 o'clock into a left neutral bow as you execute a left inward block above your attacker's elbow and execute a right reverse handsword.

3. Step your right leg circle clockwise into a horse stance stepping behind your attacker's right leg. Simultaneous with your right foot planting, execute a right outward overhead elbow strike down and on top of your attacker's right forearm.

4. Thrust your right leg to 4:30 if need be or simply pivot into a right reverse bow facing 4:30 as you execute a right palm strike to your attacker's jaw. (Your left arm is still checking your attacker's right arm.)

5. Step your right foot to 10:30 into a front twist stance as you execute a left outward handsword and a simultaneously contour your right hand down your attacker's right arm, acting as a sliding check until it grabs the right wrist.

6. Step your left foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow as you hook around your attacker's head with your left hand and apply a right hammerlock on their right arm. (This should turn their head counterclockwise.)

7. Step your right foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 4:30. Push drag in reverse toward 10:30 as you yank on your attacker's right arm. Note: This will probably dislocate their shoulder, so be careful on a partner.

8. Drop into a left close kneel stance as you have your right knee sandwich your attacker's face and head with the ground.

9. Ascend to a left front crossover and cross out towards 9 o'clock.


Twist of Fate (Front- Two-Hand Push)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock pushes you with both hands.

2. Step your right foot back to 6 o'clock into a left neutral bow facing 12 o'clock as you execute right and left extended outward handswords to the inside of your attacker's wrists.

Grafting Flow
3. Without hesitation, grab your attacker's right wrist with your left hand as your right hand grabs your attacker's left wrist.

4. Execute a right step-through slicing heel kick to your attacker's right lower ribcage.

5. Prior to planting your right foot, pivot your entire body counterclockwise (180 degrees) on the ball of your left foot. During this motion, twist your attacker's arms and cross them counterclockwise.

6. Plant your right foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 6 o'clock.

7. Without hesitation, force your attacker's arms to loop your attacker's arms forward, down, and back to you and you push drag back to 10:30. Note: This action should flip your attacker's body so they are almost horizontal to the ground, face up.

8. Pull your attacker's wrists to you as you execute a right knee kick to your attacker's upper spine or head.

9. Plant your right foot back and cross out to 10:30.


Flashing Mace (Front- Right Step-Through Punch)

1. An attacker from 12 o'clock comes at you with a right step-through punch.

2. Step to 11 o'clock with your left foot into a left neutral bow as you execute a left inward block to the outside of your attacker's right arm and simultaneously cock your right hand above your right shoulder. Note: This cocking motion can also clip the inside of your attacker's right wrist and hyper-extend or even break their right arm.

Grafting Flow
3. Step your right foot to 10:30 into a transitional right neutral bow as you execute a right inward diagonal raking hammerfist to your attacker's face. (Your left hand will maintain a positional check at your attacker's right arm.)

4. Immediately pivot counterclockwise (180 degrees) as you execute a left outward backfist to your attacker's right lower ribs. Simultaneously have your right hand execute a bracing angle check to your attacker's upper right arm.

Grafting Flow
5. Execute a left upward hooking check (waiter hand) on top of your attacker's right arm. Sink into a left wide kneel as you cock your right hand back.

6. Utilize marriage of gravity as you execute a right overhead back knuckle to your attacker's face. Note: I have also seen this final move done with a reverse marriage of gravity as you explode up with a rising back knuckle to your attacker's face.

7. Cross out to 10:30.


Detour From Doom (Front- Right Round Kick)

1. An attacker from 12 o'clock comes at you with a right round kick.

2. From a right neutral bow facing 12 o'clock, step your left foot to 4:30 (up the circle) into a right cat stance as you simultaneously execute a left downward block to the inside of your attacker's right leg as you thrust a right vertical punch to your attacker's face.

3. Execute a right front kick to your attacker's groin.

4. Land into a right neutral bow facing 10:30 as you instantly pivot into a forward bow executing a left vertical punch to your attacker's solar plexus while checking on top of your attacker's arms with a right horizontal forearm check.

5. Execute a right backfist to your attacker's stomach as your left foot shifts to 3 o'clock into a right neutral bow facing 9 o'clock.

6. Hook your left hand downward on the back of your attacker's neck as you circle your right arm counterclockwise and execute a right inward overhead hammerfist down on to your attacker's neck.

7. Cross out to 4:30.


Gift of Destiny (Front- Handshake)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock grabs your right hand with their right hand.

2. Step your right foot to 12 o'clock into a right neutral bow as you simultaneously have your left hand grab your attacker's right wrist. As you grab, execute a right inward elbow to your attacker's solar plexus.

3. Circle your right hand counterclockwise, contouring along your attacker's fingers with the palm of your hand. [Your fingers are up, thumb down.] Grab your attacker's fingers. Note: There is a right upward flapping elbow that is an accident. It happens due to the grab done in this step.

4. Step your right foot to 6 o'clock into a left neutral bow facing 12 o'clock as you turn your right hand clockwise, twisting your attacker's wrist palm up. At the same time, turn your left hand counterclockwise using your attacker's wrist as a pivot point. At the completion of your right hand twist, reach further around your attacker' wrist with your left hand to twist your attacker's wrist further. As you settle into this, release your right hand and return it to chamber. End result, your attacker will be bent over, their palm up, fingers high, the stress locking their arm out.

Grafting Flow
5. Execute a right palm strike to 1:30 to the back of your attacker's right wrist to break their wrist.

6. Execute a right front kick to your attacker's solar plexus.

7. Plant your right foot back to 6 o'clock and cross out to 4:30.


Blinding Sacrifice (Front- Two-Hand Shoulder Grab)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock directly grabs your shoulders with both hands.

2. Step your right foot to 12 o'clock into a right neutral bow while thrusting your forearms forward to wedge inside your attacker's arms. Continue with the movement to execute two upward rolling claws to your attacker's eyes (your right hand moving clockwise and left counterclockwise.)

3. Continue the circular motion, converting your claws into handswords to the inside of your attacker's arms (in order to clear the arms away.)

4. Push drag forward as both of your hands execute underhand claws to your attacker's groin and squeeze.

5. Push drag back as you execute two hooking backfists to the back of your attacker's kidneys. This push drag should put you into a right cat stance.

6. Push drag forward as the fingers of both your hands flick to your attacker's eyes and unfold into twin thumb strike to your attacker's eyes.

7. Have both your hand slap down on your attacker's shoulders, frictionally pulling your attacker down to control their height zones.

8. Without hesitation, circle your arms up, over, and in to execute two inverted backfists to your attacker's temples.

9. Collapse your raised elbows in to each other so as to sandwich your attacker's jaw hinge.

10. Grab the back of your attacker's head with your hands and push his head down into a right knee strike to the face.

11. Execute a right stomp to your attacker's instep.

12. Cross out to 7:30.


Returning Storm (Front- Right Step-Through Round Club; Backhand Club)

1. An attacker from 12 o'clock comes at you with a right step-through round club swing.

2. Shuffle back with your left foot to 7:30 into a right neutral bow as you place both both hands at chest level. (This should get you into a Zone of Sanctuary and cause the swing to go past you. They counter by reversing their swing into a backhand club strike.

3. Step your left foot forward to 1:30 into a left neutral bow as you a left forearm strike to your attacker's right elbow and a right forearm strike to your attacker's right wrist.

4. Instantly grab your attacker's arm and push out with your left while pulling with your right as you step your right foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 4:30. Note: you are using a rolling action on your attacker's arm, so that when combined with the rotational force of the technique, they will spiral down.

5. Execute a right front kick to your attacker' right ribs. (Your right hand will go back to cock for the final strike.)

6. As you land forward into a right neutral bow facing 4:30 execute a right rising back knuckle to your attacker's face.

7. Cross out to 12 o'clock.


Glancing Spear (Front- Right Direct Wrist Grab to Left Arm)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock grabs your left hand with their right hand.

2. Step your right foot back to 6 o'clock into a transitory left neutral bow as you have your right hand (palm down) circle clockwise under your attacker's right wrist, pinning it, as you turn your left hand palm up. With this action, pivot into a left reverse bow as you pull your attacker's arms diagonally down past your right hip. As you settle into the reverse bow, grab your attacker's right wrist with your right hand.

3. Pivot into a left neutral bow facing 12 o'clock as you execute a left outward elbow strike to your attacker's lower right ribs.

4. Pivot into a left forward bow facing 12 o'clock as you use a left check on top of your attacker's right arm and glance your right arm off your attacker's right arm, executing a right finger thrust to your attacker's eyes.

5. Step your left foot to 4:30 into a cross over as sweep your attacker's right leg in the process.

6. Pivot clockwise as you execute a right outward backfist to your attacker's kidney. Let this pass through and then reverse to a right ridge-hand as you execute a right stiff legged sweep to the back of your attacker's right leg to 4:30. You should be settled into a left forward bow facing 10:30 while your attacker is on the ground.

7. Execute a right downward looping round kick to your attacker's chest.

8. Cross out.


Encounter with Danger (Front- Two-Hand Push)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock pushes you with both hands.

2. Fall onto your back, slapping out on both sides to disperse the energy of the fall. As you fall, execute a left knife-edge kick to your attacker's groin.

3. Pivot, or roll to your left side to 9 o'clock as you execute a right knife-edge kick to your attacker's jaw.

4. Continue the roll rising on your left knee, face to 6 o'clock as you switch, propping yourself on your right knee as you execute a left rear kick to your attacker's midsection.

5. Pull the left foot back into a kneeling front crossover, stand and cross out to 6 o'clock.


Gathering Clouds (Front- Right Reverse Punch)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock in a left fighting stance throws a right reverse punch.

2. Step your left foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 12 o'clock as you simultaneously execute a left inward parry to the outside of your attacker's right arm and a right inward vertical middle knuckle rake to your attacker's right ribs.

3. Immediately execute a right outward handsword to your attacker's lower right ribs.

4. Step your right foot to 1:30 into a right neutral bow to buckle your attacker's right knee with your right knee as you execute a right inward elbow to your attacker's right ribs. (Your left hand is now bracing against your attacker's right elbow.)

Grafting Flow
5. Execute a right front scoop kick to your attacker's groin as you execute a right two-finger eye hook to your attacker's left eye.

6. Plant your right scoop kick back to 7:30 into a left neutral bow facing 1:30.

7. Cross out.



Circle of Doom (Front- Right Step-Through Front Kick)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock comes at you with a right step-through front kick.

2. From a right neutral bow facing 12 o'clock, with your right arm hang naturally. Pivot into a right reverse bow as you execute a right inward downward (palm down) block in and up against your attacker's right leg. Continue to circle your right arm clockwise into a right extended outward block as you force your attacker's leg out.

3. Immediately execute a right rear heel hook to your attacker's groin.

4. Plant your right foot as a gauging leg and execute a left spinning hook kick up to your attacker's head.

5. Land in a left front crossover and cross out to 4:30.



Squatting Sacrifice (Rear- Bear Hug; Arms Free)

1. An attacker at 6 o'clock grabs you in a bear hug; yet leaves your arms free.

2. Step your right foot to 3 o'clock into a horse stance as you execute right and left outward overhead elbow down onto your attacker's forearms.

3. Squat down onto your attacker's right knee. Bend over and with both hands, grab your attacker's ankle. Shift into a concave stance as you pulls up on your attacker's right ankle to force them to fall onto their back. Note: The pull and squat could break your attacker's knee due to the counterforce prior to the fall. In addition, the concave stance is used to protect yourself from pulling your attacker's leg into your groin.

4. Twist your attacker's right ankle clockwise as you have your right leg circle clockwise (preferably striking them in the face if possible) landing to 7:30 into a right reverse close kneel stance.

5. Pivot into a right forward bow as you complete the twisting of your attacker's right ankle.

6. While maintaining your grab on your attacker's right ankle with your right hand, step your left foot to 4:30 into a left close kneel stance parallel to your attacker's body as you have your left hand grab your attacker's left wrist.

7. Support your weight on your left leg as you cock your right leg high.

8. Pull up on your attacker's wrist and leg as you execute a right heel stomp to your attacker's lower spine.

9. Sweep your attacker's left arm out as you go into a right front crossover to 4:30 and cross out.



Fallen Cross (Rear- Two-Hand Choke)

1. An attacker at 6 o'clock chokes you with both their hands.

2. Step your left foot to 9 o'clock into a horse stance facing 12 o'clock as you directly grab both of your attacker's wrists with your hands. (Right to right, left to left.)

3. Step your right foot 10:30 into a transitional right neutral bow as you turn your head counterclockwise. Pivot into a left neutral bow facing 4:30 as you cross your attacker's arms at or above the elbows. As you do this, jerk down to cancel their height zones.

4. Execute a right knee kick up to your attacker's elbows. Extend your right leg into a right front kick to your attacker's groin.

5. Land forward into a right neutral bow facing 4:30 as you execute a right inward elbow to your attacker's left jaw hinge.

6. Cross out.



Brushing the Storm (Flank- Right Step-Through Overhead Club)

1. An attacker at 3 o'clock comes at you with a right step-through overhead club attack.

2. Step your right foot to 1:30 into a right neutral bow as you simultaneously execute a left inward parry to your attacker' right arm and execute a right palm strike to your attacker's face. Note: Your right arm should end up under and inside of your attacker's right arm.

3. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a left close kneel as you execute a right vertical inward elbow to your attacker's solar plexus.

4. Execute a right underhand palm strike to your attacker's groin. (Your left hand should still maintain its check on the right arm.)

5. Step your right foot to 1:30 into a left neutral bow facing 7:30 as you pull your attacker's right leg to you simultaneous with your left hand pushing on your attacker's right hip. (This should bend them over.)

6. Execute a left front kick to your attacker's groin.

7. Plant your left foot forward and execute a right knife-edge kick to your attacker's left knee.

8. Cross out to 1:30.



Desperate Falcons (Front- Two-Hand Direct Grab to Both Wrists)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock directly grabs your wrists.

2. Step your left foot to 12 o'clock into a left neutral bow facing 12 o'clock as you circle both your arms clockwise having them travel under, around, and over your attacker's right wrist. (You will pull your hands diagonally down to cancel your attacker's height and width zones.)

3. Pivot into a left forward bow facing 12 o'clock as you execute a left backfist to your attacker's face with a right vertical punch to your attacker's right ribs.

4. Step your right foot forward into a right cat stance as you execute a right backfist to your attacker's right temple. (Your left hand should press against your attacker's right arm.)

5. Step you right foot forward into a right neutral bow facing 12 o'clock as you execute a right inward elbow to your attacker's face.

6. Pivot into a right reverse wide kneel to buckle out your attacker's right leg as you execute a right downward diagonal hammerfist to your attacker's right kidney. (Your left hand continues to press on your attacker's right arm.)

7. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a left rear crossover and then step your right leg to 1:30 into a right reverse bow to buckle out your attacker's left leg.

8. Execute a right knee strike to your attacker's right thigh. Land in a front crossover and a continue to cross out to 7:30.



Circling the Horizon (Front- Right Step-Through Punch)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock comes at you with a right step-through punch.

2. Step your left foot to 9 o'clock as you execute a left inward parry to the outside of your attacker's right arm. During this action, have your right foot slide to your left into a right cat stance as your right hand circles clockwise covering past your groin, tracking under your left wrist. As you settle into the cat stance, execute a right vertical back knuckle to your attacker's right cheek bone.

3. Step your right foot to 1:30 into a right neutral bow facing 1:30 as you execute a right inward elbow to your attacker's right lower ribs. (Your left hand will execute a bracing angle check to your attacker's right arm.)

4. Sink into a right close kneel as you execute a right chopping hammerfist to the back of your attacker's right leg.

5. Follow through with your hand and immediately execute a right reverse hammerfist up to your attacker's groin. (Your left hand is still checking your attacker's arm.)

6. Cross out to 9 o'clock.



Gripping Talon (Front- Left Hand Direct Wrist Grab)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock grabs your right wrist with their left hand.

2. Step your right foot to 12 o'clock into a right neutral bow facing 12 o'clock as you circle your right hand counterclockwise, under and to the outside of your attacker's left wrist as you circle your left hand counterclockwise and grab your attacker's left wrist. This frees your right hand to execute a right back hammerfist to your attacker's groin.

Grafting Flow
3. Execute a right inward elbow to your attacker's left ribs.

4. Follow through and reverse the action, executing a right outward elbow to your attacker's right ribs.

5. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a left rear crossover as you execute a right backfist to your attacker's left ribs. (Meanwhile, maintain control of your attacker's left hand.)

6. Step your right foot to 1:30 into a right reverse bow to buckle to the inside of your attacker's left leg as you execute a right looping wrist strike to the right side of your attacker's neck. (Coordinate this move by yanking on your attacker's left arm.)

7. As your attacker falls, execute a right knee strike to your attacker's face.

8. Continue the motion and cross out to 4:30.



Broken Ram (Front- Tackle; Arms Wide)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock comes at you to tackle with their arms spread wide.

2. From a right neutral bow facing 12 o'clock, step your left foot to 3 o'clock as you execute a right downward parry to your attacker's left arm simultaneous with a left downward parry to your attacker's right arm. Continue the motion of your right arm and as you settle into a right neutral bow facing 9 o'clock, execute a right inward overhead hammerfist to the back of your attacker's neck. (Left hand should be checking against your attacker's right.)

3. With your attacker's left arm trying to grab your waist, pivot into a right reverse bow as you loop your right arm under your attacker's left arm and execute a left uppercut to 4:30. (With your body as the fulcrum, this should cause a break.)

4. Execute a right rear scoop kick to your attacker's groin.

5. As you plant your foot back to to 10:30, aim to buckle out your attacker's left knee. As you do this, loop your hand counterclockwise and over your attacker's left arm to execute a right outward downward hammerfist to your attacker's left jaw. Note: Synchronize these action with marriage of gravity as you settle into your right reverse bow.

6. Cross out to 4:30.



Circling Destruction (Front- Left Step-Through Punch)

1. An attacker at 12 o'clock comes at you with a left step-through punch.

2. Step your right foot to 12 o'clock into a right neutral bow as you execute a right inward parry followed by a left outward hooking parry (waiter's hand) to your attacker's left arm. Continue the motion of your right hand so that it executes a right outward backfist to your attacker's left ribs.

3. Step your left foot to 4:30 into a right forward bow facing 10:30 as you execute a left horizontal palm strike to your attacker's face. (Your right hand should be cocked at your right ear.)

4. Pivot into a right neutral bow as simultaneously have your left hand claw across your attacker's face as you execute a right inward handsword to the right side of your attacker's neck.

5. Execute a right front scoop kick to your attacker's groin as you simultaneously thrust a left palm strike to your attacker's left kidney with a right two-finger scoop to your attacker's eyes.

6. Land back to 4:30 into a left neutral bow and cross out. Note: I have seen this ending done differently, so the option is being listed. From your right front scoop kick and eye hook, come crashing back down into a right neutral bow facing 10:30 as you execute a right inward elbow and a left palm strike to your attacker's head. Then cross out.



Obscure Claws (Right Flank- Left Hand Shoulder Grab)

1. An attacker at 3 o'clock grabs your right shoulder with their left hand.

2. Step your right foot to 6 o'clock into a left neutral bow facing 12 o'clock as your right circles clockwise and claws your attacker's face. Follow through with your right arm and circle over your attacker's arm as a left inward claw strikes your attacker's face.

3. Immediately step your right foot to 12 o'clock into a right neutral bow as you execute a right uppercut to break your attacker's elbow joint.

4. Step to 12 o'clock with your left foot into a left inverted neutral bow. Pivot out into a right forward bow facing 4:30 as your right hand reverses its motion and circles as a right looping backfist to your attacker's right mastoid as you simultaneously execute a left inward horizontal palm strike to your attacker's solar plexus.

5. Follow through with your right hand and pivot into a right neutral bow as you execute a right outward inverted middle knuckle strike to your attacker's sternum.

6. Cross out to 10:30.
