3. Immediately following this strike you should hook over your attacker's arm with your right hand and frictionally pull your attacker's left arm down and past your right hip. Simultaneous with this action, pivot into a right forward bow as you execute a left thrusting outward hand sword to your attacker's throat.

4. Pivot back into a right neutral bow as you execute a right raking hammerfist diagonally across your attacker's nose. Note: During this action, your left hand will act as a sliding check down your attacker's left arm.

Note: Your right hand will be cocked high, your left knee will be putting pressure on the back of your attacker's right knee.

Grafting Flow
5. Shift back into a left close kneel facing 10:30 as your left hand checks across your attacker's back as you utilize gravitational marriage and execute a right inward overhead hammerfist to your attacker's neck. Note: Your left knee will again put pressure on the top of your attacker's right kneecap.

Note: This is all to stop the attack as well as get out of the Line of Attack.

3. Grab your attacker's right wrist with your right hand as your left foot steps toward 1:30 (stepping around your attacker's right leg if necessary) into a left neutral bow facing 1:30. Simultaneous with this step, execute a left forearm strike to your attacker's elbow. Note: This strike will start vertically and end rolling horizontally across the joint to bend them over.

2. Step your right foot to 3 o'clock into a horse stance facing 12 o'clock as you execute simultaneous middle knuckle strikes directly down onto your attacker's hands. Note: If the strikes hit, they should release their grab. If not, execute the elbows from Crashing Wings. Flow into that or keep moving with this technique.

3. Grab your attacker's right wrist with both of your hands. As you do so, lock your arms tight against your body to prevent any action from your attacker.

4. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a front crossover. Immediately spiral to 1:30 with your right foot. You should land in a left neutral bow facing 7:30.

5. As you spiral into this left neutral bow, your hands maintain their position in front of you. As you turn into the left neutral bow, your right elbow should utilize rotational force and turn them over so your attacker is doubled over in front of you.

Grafting Flow
6. Execute a right rising front kick to your attacker's solar plexus. Note: Your right will release the grab (your left will maintain this) as you cock it behind you at your right hip.

3. Step your right foot behind your left to 7:30 into a left neutral bow facing 1:30 as you have your left hand cross your attacker's left arm over their right arm. [During this, your left arm pushes and your right arm pulls, making your attacker's right leg stumble forward.]

4. Execute a right front snap kick to the inside of your attacker's right knee.

5. Land in a right neutral bow facing 1:30 as you push out on your right to cause your attacker's left arm to break against their own right arm. Note: In the air, this resembles a vertical back knuckle strike.

6. Cross out towards 7:30.

Note: This technique is Thrusting Salute. Same motion, just different attack. And of course, initial response is different due to the attack, but after that, the same. Go through slowly. Motion is the same; meaning different.

Flight to Freedom (Rear- Hammerlock)

1. An attacker at 6 o'clock locks your right arm behind you; they have their left arm on your shoulder.

2. Step your left foot back to 6 o'clock as you counter-grab your attacker's wrist grab and execute a left outward elbow that is subsequently blocked. What now?

3. Without hesitation, step your left foot to 1:30 into a right reverse cat stance as you straighten your right arm and completely counter-grab your attacker's arm.

4. Execute a right rear kick to your attacker's ribs.

5. Land in a right neutral bow facing 7 o'clock as you pivot your entire body clockwise and twist your attacker's arm clockwise in a tight circle. Note: The torque of the rotations should bend your attacker over. Also, your left hand should become a positional check.

6. Execute a left front kick to your attacker's left inner knee to buckle their knee.

7. Plant your left foot to 10:30. Simultaneous with this plant, utilize marriage of gravity as you execute a left hammering palm strike to your attacker's right elbow joint.

8. Cross out towards 10:30.
