John Sepulveda



Mr. John Sepulveda is one of the few who can say he was a direct student of Senior Grandmaster Edmund K. Parker. He has been in the martial arts all but 16 years of his life.

He has actively and successfully competed in many open, national and international tournaments in freestyle, forms and self-defense divisions. He has many junior and senior students who have competed successfully at the same levels of competition. He has also appeared nationally and internationally on television, in martial arts magazines and has written articles teaching the art of Kenpo as perpetuated by Mr. Parker.

Mr. Sepulveda has received many awards being recognized worldwide for his committed efforts in promoting Kenpo and was inducted into the Associated Teachers Association of Martial Artists (ATAMA) "Hall of Fame". He was one of the first "A" rated officials licensed and sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commission and received the California Karate League's, "Official of the Year Award" in 1984.

Mr. Sepulveda has just aquired his 8th Degree Black belt the weekend of Oct. 10-11, 1998. He is also the International Director for the AKKS and has over 20 schools who are affiliated with him.
