Description: The PKA Karate Academy is one of the oldest martial arts academies in Southwestern Pennsylvania with over 27 years in the business community. In Pittsburgh specifically, PKA has always had a reputation of professionalism and instructors that produce results with students of all ages. PKA is also known for having the best family atmosphere in the area. Everyone is welcome: all ages, ranks, styles, shapes and sizes.

In 2002, PKA Karate took east coast Kenpo to a monumental level by meeting GM Larry Tatum, Senior Professor Clyde T. O'Briant and joining the LTKKA. All instructors continually remain in the student mode and the excitement is very contagious as seen not only by growth but also by the many transplant students that have migrated from other local schools, systems and sports. PKA has grown so drastically over the past five years that they are now looked upon by many as west coast kenpoists living on the east coast.

All students, regardless of age or goals are individuals. There are no cookie-cutter students. PKA specializes in results and bringing out the best in people: past - present - future!
